HTC has officially announced the VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses, releasing on September 1st, 2025. These lightweight, AI-powered glasses combine sleek design with powerful features, including:

As mentioned before the HTC VIVE Eagle AI smart glasses will officially launch on September 1st, 2025 in Taiwan, marking HTC’s latest step in expanding its wearable technology lineup. From the VIVE XR Elite headset released in early 2023 to the compact and lifestyle-focused VIVE Flow in late 2021. By introducing the Eagle, HTC is moving beyond traditional VR and AR headsets into the AI smart glasses market, positioning itself alongside competitors like Meta, Google, and Apple.
The HTC VIVE Eagle is not just another pair of smart glasses. Weighing under 49 grams, these AI glasses are built for all-day comfort thanks to lightweight construction and adjustable nose pads. VIVE Eagle combines innovative elegance with powerful AI features.
Available in four color options, Berry, Black, Coffee, and Grey, and sold with ZEISS UV400 sunlenses for advanced sun protection.
HTC emphasizes that your data remains private, fully encrypted, anonymized, and never sold or used for AI training. All interactions stay securely on your device or linked smartphone.
The VIVE Eagle’s bass-enhanced open-ear speakers deliver spatial sound while keeping you aware of your surroundings. The audio tuning minimizes sound leakage, making your music or calls for your ears only.
The glasses can capture your world with the 12MP ultra-wide camera, capable of crisp photos (3024 × 4032 px) and HD video (1512 × 2016 @ 30 fps). AI features such as horizon alignment ensure perfect framing every time. Privacy is built in, cameras automatically disable when the glasses aren’t worn or if the LED is covered.
The VIVE Eagle includes built-in AI tools that make everyday tasks easier, from breaking down language barriers to keeping track of important details.
With up to 4.5 hours of continuous music playback and over 36 hours standby, the VIVE Eagle keeps up with your lifestyle. Magnetic fast charging gets you from 0–50% in just 10 minutes.
The HTC VIVE Eagle combines lightweight design with advanced AI capabilities, and its full specifications highlight the hardware and features that make these smart glasses stand out.
The HTC VIVE Eagle is currently only available in Taiwan at launch, with a suggested retail price of TWD $15,600. It can be purchased at 2020EYEhaus and select Taiwan Mobile stores. Sizes M and L are available, and HTC recommends visiting a store to find your perfect fit.
The launch of the VIVE Eagle AI glasses marks HTC’s bold entry into the AI smart glasses market. With its blend of style, privacy-first AI features, and smartphone integration, the VIVE Eagle could become a go-to wearable for those who want functionality without sacrificing everyday elegance.
